Divorce
£700 plus vat and disbursements - Sole applicant in divorce (undefended) or applicant one in a joint application
£500 plus vat and disbursements - Applicant 2 in a joint applicantion/Respondent in divorce (undefended)
Consent Order
£1,000 plus vat and disbursements (for clean break only and no disclosure)
£1,250 plus vat and disbursements (for substantive order* and no disclosure)
£1,500 plus vat and disbursements (for substantive order* including pension sharing and no disclosure)
*e.g lumpsum/property adjustment order
What is included in consent order packages?
Legal advice limited to the court process only (no advice will be given upon the appropriateness of the actual settlement that you have reached).
Up to 1 hour personal attendance (if needed) by telephone or Teams video call.
Telephone calls, emails and letters to/from you, your spouse and their solicitor and the court.
Drafting the Consent Order or Approving/Considering an order already drafted, and assisting you in completing the Statement of Information.
Dealing with court enquiries.
Serving the Mortgagee as required by the Family Proceedings Rules (where there is a property adjustment order)
A Pension sharing order and Annex (where there is a pension sharing order)
Serving the Pension provider/mortgagees in accordance with the Family Proceedings Rules (where there is a pension sharing order)
What is NOT included in consent order packages?
Advice on the settlement you have agreed.
The process of financial disclosure, that is disclosing evidence of your income, assets, pension etc. to your spouse or their legal advisor and obtaining your spouse’s financial disclosure.
Negotiations for settlement are not included as this package assumes that you have already agreed a suitable financial settlement to enable you to have a consent order.
Court attendance of any kind.
